Info: Cupido was handpicked by Candlemaker to be the God of Love and to help keep the emotions mostly in the Land of the Living stable. She's basically your typical matchmaker, but with one flaw in her powers...she can't make a fellow God or a mortal fall in love with her. Candlemaker had a feeling she would try this so he was wise to set a limit to her powers. Although she strangely has this ability, she is also forbidden to break up true love. The limits to her abilities do frustrate her, mostly because she cannot use them to claim Xibalba's heart. However on Dias de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead), her cheerful personality turns dark and cruel. Xibalba strangely finds her dark side attractive, but hides this from La Muerte. Over time she realized this and managed to channel her 'forgotten form' to help her charm him whenever she wanted, but still fails since his eyes are for another.

Appearance: She has the same eyes and long, dark flowing hair of La Muerte, and even the same sugar candy skin. She also wears a pink dress embroidered with several heart patterns, but on Dias de los Muertos it turns black and red. In her hair are 2 heart shaped pins La Muerte gifted her with upon their first meeting. They have a habit to glow whenever she is happy or excited, but in her forgotten form they turn into dark red broken hearts.

She instantly felt a spark when she first saw him, as though something in her just wanted this dark deity to herself. It wasn't until she confessed her feelings for him to Candlemaker that she heard him say "Uh, you do know La Muerte is his wife....right?" Although this upset her, she still took the time to see Xibalba either in his home of the forgotten or whenever he came to The Land of the Remembered.

La Muerte
Although jealous of her love for Xibalba, she oddly finds it hard to be upset with her, even for a second. She instantly bonds with her like a sister...unable to remember that in life the two of them were sisters.
